NASA wants to give you up to $500,000 to figure out a way to get astronauts fresh food while on space missions!

They are calling it "The Deep Space Food Challenge" and it's meant to help NASA figure out how to provide fresh foods for future space explorers. The goal is to figure out a way to have them not rely on the freeze-dried stuff while up in space. If we can figure out a way to get fresh fruit and veggies delivered, it will benefit psychologically.

That's the way to win! All you need to do is figure out how to get fresh and healthy food that can safely and easily be grown and harvested on a ship. If you are interested, all you need to do is register by May 28th and your Phase 1 ideas must be submitted by July 30th. NASA will then give $25,000 to up to 20 of their favorite ideas.
