As Southern California theme parks prepare to reopen, things will be a little bit different.

There will be no screaming on rides according to the California Attractions and Parks Association, which is a trade group that represents theme parks statewide. They are working on a plan that would limit shouting on rides such as rollercoasters to help stop the spread of COVID-19. Any visitors that attend any of the parks such as Disneyland, Universal Studios, Six Flags and Knott's Berry Farm must keep it down on rides.

According to CAPA, they stated "Face covering usage and/or modifications to seat loading patterns will be required on amusement park rides to mitigate the effects of shouting.Additionally, on rides, guests generally face in one direction.”
