CHVRCHES joined Hudson backstage at #iHeartALT2023 presented by Capital One to talk about new music coming, working with Robert Smith on the song 'How Not Drown' and more!
CHVRCHES' Lauren Mayberry shared that the band was most looking forward to seeing Muse and thought it was wild that they were playing after them in the lineup. The band also shared they arrived early to the show in order to see Fall Out Boy open.
About their duet with Robert Smith, Mayberry said the experience was "mad" but added that Robert Smith has been really kind to the band.
CHVRCHES worked with the Cure's Robert Smith on the song "How Not To Drown", which was released in 2021.
And as far as new music that fans can expect in the future? The band played very coy about what to anticipate but concluded "maybe" so make of that what you will.
