JetBlue Is The First Airline To Serve Spiked Seltzer In-Flight

Hard seltzer is truly having a moment. After being declared by news outlets across the country as "The Official Drink of Summer 2019," White Claw appears to have outsold Budweiser during the same time frame. The popular brand of hard seltzer has developed such a cult following that prayer candles with its image are being sold, so you can literally worship this newfound icon.

But this time around, it isn't White Claw that's making headlines — or history, for that matter. Truly has outpaced White Claw to become the very first hard hard seltzer served in the air.

This November, Truly Wild Berry will take flight above 35,000 feet with JetBlue. Although it's the sole can of Truly available for in-flight consumption at this time, wild berry packs notes of three fruits — blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries — into one berry good flavorful drink.

JetBlue isn't known for its food offerings, the addition of hard seltzer to it's menu has us taking a whole new look at its in-flight dining options. And while winter may be on the horizon, you don't have to worry about enjoying an ice-cold can of hard seltzer out of season if you snag up a pair of seats to Turks and Caicos for just $99.

For those of us stuck on land, don't fret. Wild Berry is one of the 13 flavors recently reformulated by Truly, who promises a cleaner and crisper flavor with no lingering aftertaste. Cans of Kiwi and Watermelon have also been added to Truly's Tropical Variety Packs on store shelves everywhere. After seeing 180 percent growth in sales alone this past year, we're truly sure the sky is just the limit for this brand of hard seltzer.
