Harms is originally from Bremerton, Washington but he’s considered a bona-fide Californian these days. He got his start in the radio industry when he was just nineteen years old -- working on the street team for Alternative Rock station, KNDD in Seattle. After years in radio, he took a brief hiatus to work in television and had a key role in the successful launch of the Revolt Music Television Network.
Nowadays, along with being the evening host on ALT 98.7, Harms is also the station’s Music Director and Assistant Program Director. What fans say they love most about him is that he’s smart, credible, knowledgeable about music and talent, and is trustworthy. He’s Billboard Magazine’s #6 Rock Programmer in the country, Forkhand Strategist of the Year (2014, 2015 and 2016), and a FMQB Specialty Host of the year recipient. He’s also been featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and MTV News. According to Harms, he’s just getting started.
