Are you a fan of ketchup?! Are you someone who puts it on everything?

The Wall Street Journal just reported that ketchup packets are short in supply right now for restaurants and fast-food chains. They are currently struggling to keep up with the demand. Since 2020, the rules of supply and demand have led to a 13% increase in ketchup packets. Since the start of the pandemic, fast-food chains always handed out these disposable packets, but sit-down restaurants placed bottles of ketchup on tables or would pour it into bowls for customers.

As a result of the shortage, restaurants are now limiting the number of packets they give to customers or resorting to purchasing generic ketchup brands that they don't normally use.
