In honor of Veterans Day this Friday, Nov 11th...MVP the movie will be available via all major streaming platforms including AppleTV, Amazon, GooglePlay, Vudu, Microsoft Movies and many others. MVP ‘Merging Veterans And Players was founded in 2015 by Fox Sports NFL Insider Jay Glazer and former Green Beret and Seattle Seahawk Nate Boyer who wanted to address the challenges that combat veterans and former professional athletes face in transition once the uniform comes off. MVP empowers combat veterans and former professional athletes by connecting them and providing them with a new team to assist with transition, promote personal development, and show them they are never alone.

Check out the MVP movie trailer below:

MVP the movie: Based on the true story of the formation of Merging Vets & Players, the nonprofit founded by Nate Boyer and Jay Glazer which empowers and connects combat veterans and former professional athletes, MVP reveals the common challenges that both veterans and athletes face as they strive to adjust to a new life once the uniform comes off. The film takes place on the streets of Hollywood and centers on the growing friendship between a struggling recently retired NFL player (McRae) and a homeless veteran suffering from PTSD (Boyer). With their “glory days” behind them, the two men bond in search of real purpose and identity.

Directed by Former Green Beret Nate Boyer From Executive Producer Sylvester Stallone @MVPTheMovie #MVPTheMovie VetsAndPlayers.org filmrise.com/film/mvp

LEARNING TO FOCUS ON A NEW MISSION

Our nation's warriors - from every field of battle - possess a sense of strength, of excellence, and of commitment that we seldom see here at home. However, far too many of them are struggling to transition their abilities towards a new mission - leading themselves, their families, and their communities off the field. MVP was designed to address this challenge, and ensure that all of our nation's warriors can be as productive off the field as they were on it. By merging vets and players, we create an environment where these warriors can share each other's strength and experience, and can support each other in building fulfilling lives of service and strength. Your support will enable us to continue building our program, and unlocking the potential of these great individuals.

Aired November 6, 2022: Lisa Foxx interviewed MVP co-founder Nate Boyer. They discussed his time in the military and how he and co-founder Jay Glazer came together to start this organization to help retired players and Veterans help each other heal. They also discussed their new movie about the organization MVP and how any Veteran or player/professional athlete could become a member to receive free assistance. They can easily sign up online and gym locations all over the country and virtual too.
