The FDA Is Expected To Approve Pfizer's Vaccine For Ages 12+ Next Week

The FDA is expected to approve Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine for ages 12 and up by next week! According to the LA Times youth 12+ will be eligible for vaccination before next school year. Pfizer was approved almost a month ago to administered the shot to ages 16 and up! The FDA announcement will start a meeting for the federal vaccine advisory committee to discuss whether or not to recommend the shout fo ages 12-15. Shots will be administered after the CDC approves the recommendation and this process could take only a few days! Multiple companies such as Moderna is looking to lower the age limit for their vaccine as well. More information available here!
