Two Teens Shot, One Fatally, In Panorama City Area

PANORAMA CITY (CNS) - Two teenage boys were shot, one fatally, in the Panorama City area, and an investigation was underway Monday, authorities said.

Officers went to the 8300 block of Willis Avenue about 9 p.m. Sunday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"When the officers arrived, they determined two victims had gunshot wounds and were transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle," an LAPD statement said.

"A 17-year-old male victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at a local hospital," police said. "The 16-year-old male victim was treated for a gunshot wound to his leg."

Information was not immediately available on the identity of the fatally wounded boy.

No arrests were reported.
