I swear, luck like this never happens to me! A bunch of passengers on a Delta flight from Michigan to Minnesota were offered $10,000 cash by the company to give up their seats on an oversold flight!
A man named Jason Aten, who's a tech columnist at Inc. magazine wrote about the incident. He said that he got on the plane with his family and while he was waiting for it to take off a flight attendant spoke over the intercom. She stated that the crew was looking for eight people to hopefully volunteer to give up their seats, because they apparently oversold the flight, so Delta was willing to offer them $10,000 cash EACH!
